北京大学真菌和真菌病研究中心成立于1992年，由已故的德高望重的医学真菌专家，北京大学第一医院王端礼教授牵头，联合北京大学人民医院和第三医院两家单位医学真菌同仁共同成立。中心是全国医学院校中第一个医学真菌研究中心，也是北方地区最具规模的真菌病临床诊断、治疗、教学和研究基地。中心实验室位于教育部重点学科—北京大学第一医院皮肤科内，实验室设备齐全，具备从事菌种保藏、真菌形态鉴定、分子生物学和细胞免疫学等研究工作的完备研究平台。

　　中心成立以来致力于医学真菌和真菌病的基础与临床研究。主要目标在于提高我国临床真菌病的诊断和治疗水平，深入研究真菌病发病机制，为更好地防治真菌感染奠定基础。主要研究方向包括：

　　医学真菌的准确鉴定及其生物学特性研究；

　　真菌感染的非培养诊断；

　　抗真菌药物耐药机制；

　　真菌感染的发病机制—聚焦宿主免疫。

 

　　目前中心负责人李若瑜教授是国内外公认的医学真菌学术带头人，现任中国微生物学会真菌专业委员会主任委员、亚太地区医学真菌学会理事长。曾获得卫计委突出贡献优秀中青年专家、中国科协优秀科技工作者等奖励。中心拥有一批优秀的中青年学术骨干，包括正高6名、副高1名、中级职称2名、技师5名以及博士和硕士生研究生10余名，他们专业基础扎实，治学严谨，学术思想活跃，组成了一个团结向上、充满朝气的研究团队。拥有教育部跨世纪和新世纪人才及科协生命联合体青年托举人才各一名；

　　本中心依托于北京大学皮肤病学科，是国家重点学科、国家卫计委临床重点专科、教育部创新团队及北京市重点实验室。曾主持多项国家级课题；在本领域顶级杂志上发表多篇论文，包括 Lancet Infect Dis 、 JACI 、 JAAD 、 JID 、 JAC 、 JCM 、 IAI 等；荣获省部级奖励5项；获得国家发明专利5项；有多位骨干在国际国内学术组织中担任重要职务。

　　本团队拥有丰富的临床资源和大规模临床研究的坚实基础，三家医院真菌实验室每年接诊真菌镜检患者3万余人次、真菌培养1万余人次；血清学检测1万余人次。中心拥有种类最为完备的医学真菌菌种库；为国内多家单位提供真菌病临床诊断和菌种鉴定服务。作为国家首批药物临床试验基地，曾牵头完成中国首个国际多中心抗真菌药物临床试验；牵头44项和参与8项抗真菌新药及其它与感染疾病相关药物的多中心临床研究；牵头或参与真菌病诊疗指南或共识的编写。于国内率先开展真菌诊断和耐药检测新方法，探讨耐药机制并建立了规范化诊疗体系。在国际上首先报告了顽固条件致病性丝状真菌感染与宿主 STAT1 或 CARD9 突变导致的相关免疫功能缺陷有关。

　　Research Center for Medical Mycology, Peking University

 

　　Founded in 1992, the Research Center for Medical Mycology of Peking University was initially leaded by Professor Duanli Wang from Peking University First Hospital and united with the colleagues in medical mycology from Peking University People’s Hospital and Peking University Third Hospital. This center is the first domestic research center on medical mycology, and the largest base of clinical diagnosis, treatment, education，and research of mycosis in northern China. The central laboratory is located in the National Key Discipline of the Ministry of Education - Department of Dermatology of Peking University First Hospital, which has a fully equipped research platform for strain preservation, morphological identification, molecular biology and cellular immunology.

 

　　Since its establishment, the center has devoted to the basic medical science and clinical research of medical mycology and mycosis. The main goal  is to improve the level of diagnosis and treatment of clinical mycosis in China, further study the pathogenesis of mycosis, and tolay the foundation for better prevention of fungal infection. The main research directions are as follows.

　　（1）Accurate identification and biological characteristics research for medical mycology;

　　（2）Non-culture diagnosis for fungal infection;

　　（3）Antifungal resistance mechanisms;

　　（4）The pathogenesis offungal infection - focusing on host immunity.

 

　　The head of the Research Center for Medical Mycology of Peking University is Prof. Ruoyu Li who is widely recognized as the academic leader of medical mycology, and is the present President of the Mycological Committee of Chinese Society for Microbiology and Asia-Pacific Society for Medical Mycology. She has been honored the Young Expert with Outstanding Contributions issued by the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the Excellent Scientific Worker by China Association for Science and Technology. The center has a number of excellent young and middle-aged experts, including 6 seniors, 1 deputy seniors, 2 intermediate titles, 7 technicians and more than 10 doctoral and master candidates. With solid foundation of profession, rigorous attitude and active academic idea, they have formed a united and youthful research team. Besides, the center has two people who were awarded Talents of the New Century of the Ministry of Education and youth talent selected by the China Association for Science and Technology, respectively.

　　The center, depending on the Department of Dermatology of Peking University, having been awarded as the National Key Discipline, the National Key Clinical Specialty of National Health and Family Planning Commission, the Innovative Research Team in University of Ministry of Education of PRC and Beijing Key Laboratory. The center have undertaken several national research projects, published papers on the top journals of the field, such as Lancet Infect Dis 、 JACI 、 JAAD 、 JID 、 JAC 、 JCM 、 IAI etc. .In addition, the center has received 5provincial-level awards and 5 National Invention Patents. Many core members take important positions in international and domestic academic associations.

　　This team has abundant clinical resources and solid foundation in large-scaled clinical researches. The mycology laboratory of the three hospitals have an yearly average number of microscopic examinations 30,000, cultures  10,000, serologic tests of 10,000. The center collects over 9000  pathogenic fungal strains, and provides service of clinical diagnosis and strain identification many . As one of the earliest sites of drug clinical trials, the center leaded the first international multicenter clinical trials for anti-fungal agent in China, joined in over 50 multicenter clinical trials of new anti-fungal agents, and drafted clinical guidelines for fungal diseases. The center was also developing new methods for diagnosis of fungal diseases and detection of antifungal resistance, investigate the mechanisms, and founded standard system for diagnosis and treatment. Our team firstly reported the susceptibility of filamentous fungal infection were related to the STAT1 or CARD9 mutation.
