1.1.1从遗传易感基因及其多态性、表观遗传学机制等方面,深入探讨妊娠期合并糖尿病影响母儿结局的发病机制,并通过临床随机对照研究制定妊娠合并糖尿病的早期干预策略,降低母儿近远期不良结局的发生率;
1.1.2基于妊娠期合并糖尿病最常见的母体合并症——子痫前期发病机制的研究,筛选早期生物标记物和干预候选靶点,并通过大样本临床随机对照研究进行验证,实现子痫前期早期的临床预测并早期干预,改善母儿结局;
1.1.3对妊娠合并糖尿病常见的胎儿结构异常——胎儿泌尿系统结构异常、神经系统结构异常,进行系统的产前筛查和诊断,有针对性地进行多学科规范管理,减少出生缺陷的发生;

Beijing Key Laboratory of Maternal Fetal Medicine of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus
Beijing Key Laboratory of Maternal Fetal Medicine of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus(GDM),which belongs to Peking university First Hospital, was founded in 2015 authorized by Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. The overall orientation of key lab is based on the following aspects: satisfying the needs of Beijing, generating a spillover effect to Tianjin municipalities and Hebei Province, aiming at the international front which focus on the mechanism of GDM and related diseases, establishing a standardized operation and interference for prenatal, perinatal and postnatal, setting up a multi-disciplinary consultation platform for treating fetal intrauterine disease, popularizing knowledge of GDM in order to lowing the incidence of the GDM by effective prevention and intervention, building infrastructure and technologic platform as well as setting up sharing mechanism, cultivating excellent obstetrics talents, the final aim is to support the development of Beijing on obstetrics.
Establishing standardized GDM clinical cohort based on system management and network of clinical and biorepository data. Formulation of early prevention strategies to reduce adverse pregnancy outcomes in mother and child.
1.1.1
Identifying the genetic susceptibility gene and its polymorphism and epigenetic mechanisms, keep on studying of the pathogenesis of perinatal outcomes accompany with GDM, and to develop early intervention strategies of GDM through randomized controlled clinical study, reduce the incidence of maternal and fetal long-term adverse outcomes
1.1.2 Identifying the pathogenesis of preeclampsia ,which is the most common pregnancy complication of GDM, based on the screening of early biomarkers and intervention targets , verifying these biomarker through large sample randomized controlled clinical study, implementation early clinical prediction and early intervention of preeclampsia, improve the outcome of maternal and offspring's;
1.1.3 Systematic prenatal screening and diagnosis of fetal structural abnormalities, fetal urinary system structure abnormalities and nervous system structure abnormalities are carried out for GDM patient. Targeted multidisciplinary management should be carried out to reduce birth defects.
Research Directions:
screening early biomarkers and intervention targets of preeclampsia accompany with GDM.
Carrying on clinical prediction and early intervention of early preeclampsia through large sample randomized controlled trials
Indentifying the molecular mechanism and intervention strategy of fetal structure and metabolic abnormalities induced by diabetes
Beijing Key Laboratory of Maternal Fetal Medicine of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus(GDM)leading by Professor Yanghuixia1,has a stable personnel and strong scientific research team. Researchers include professors, researchers, associate professors, deputy chief physicians and professional technicians. A total of 47 researchers, including 21 professor and associated professor, and 29 people have doctoral degrees and overseas study experience. There are 1 postdoctoral candidates at the station and 43 graduate students, including 28 master students and 15 doctoral students. Most of the trainees or graduate students have become the academic leaders or the backbone of the Department of Obstetrics and gynecology in the brothers hospitals
The existing laboratory area is about 1550 square meters, and the fixed assets of research equipment are over 14 million yuan. Through the construction of software and hardware for three years, the clinical cohort management system is gradually established and integrated with clinical data and specimen data.
Relying on our laboratory platform, we acquired 4 key special projects related to pregnancy diseases, with a total cost of 13 million 600 thousand yuan, 4 items from the National Natural Science Foundation, 8 items from Provincial and ministerial projects , and 1 items from world diabetes foundation . Total amount of new research funds of 22 million 600 thousand yuan.
Base on work of Beijing Key Laboratory of Maternal Fetal Medicine of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus, a number of consensus and guidelines was made, 5 patents are applied and 3 patents are authorized. Constructed a National Alliance for scientific research and cooperation on critical diseases in obstetrics. Promoted suitable technology and multi center cooperative diagnosis and treatment. Established a cohort of obstetric features and a biological sample library.
