眼科自1958年建科，一直以医、教、研并重，2001年建立眼科中心，各方面在高平台上得到了飞速发展。近三年获得国家级科研项目13项、省部级科研项目9项，总金额达1500万，横向科研项目41项，协议金额超过1162万。“十二五”期间发表SCI收录论文70余篇，获授权的专利20余项，其中成功实现转化1项。在这两年的中国医学科学院科研排名中，北京大学第三医院眼科在科研投入和产出两方面均位列全国前五名。2016年眼科人员组成：正高职称13名、副高职称21名、中级职称13名。2016年眼科在读科研博士生3名、临床博士生13名、科研硕士生4名、临床硕士生13名。2016年眼科临床工作：门诊量达27万人次，手术量超过1.6万例，近五年平均每年增幅分别为5%和7.25%。以此于2016年获批北京市重点实验室，2017年4月召开了重点实验室启动会。

　　研究领域及方向：

　　1、眼科疾病的临床注册研究：基于Eye Injury Vitrectomy Study (EIVS)数据库，建立北京大学眼部创伤注册研究（PKU Ocular Trauma Study）。

　　2、眼部葡萄膜损伤的临床修复研究：建立眼部创伤致脉络膜损伤的分类体系，探索脉络膜外伤的修复手术。

　　3、干眼症的综合治疗临床研究：探索眼表神经营养因子营养、抗VEGF、物理及传统医学等综合治疗方法。

　　4、视觉刺激诱导视路重塑研究：建立低视力康复与视觉辅助重建的标准化医疗体系。利用3D打印技术进行个体化辅助视觉器具定制。

　　5、眼部损伤的组织工程修复及干细胞研究：以压缩胶原为载体，体外构建组织工程角膜内皮植片，继续开展人去细胞皮肤组织在眼表的应用，形成转化和产业。开展干细胞治疗的研究

　　6、眼部神经损伤保护研究：研究视网膜神经细胞-Müller细胞偶联机制，开展基因治疗和干细胞神经营养的研究。

　　7、科研平台建设：继续建设眼科在“十二五”期间搭建的科研平台，包括眼科影像读片中心、病原学检测平台、眼科病理、药物临床试验机构和生物样本库。

　　Beijing key laboratory of restoration of damaged ocular nerve

　　Since being established in 1958, the ophthalmology department has paid equal attention to medical treatment, education and scientific research. In 2001, the Eye Center was established, and various aspects were developed rapidly at a high level. In the past three years, the Center have got more than 20 research grants with above RMB 15 million from the government and 41 grants with RMB 11.62 million from the NGO. During the 12th five-year plan period, more than 70 SCI papers were published and more than 20 patents were authorized, among which 1 patent achieved transformation. In the most recent two years of scientific research ranking of the Chinese academy of medical sciences, our Center was ranked in 6th. Recently, we have more than 100 faculty including 13 full professors and 21 associate professors. In 2016, we have served 270,000 outpatients and approached 16,000 surgeries. Accordingly, the key laboratory of Beijing was approved in 2016 and the key laboratory opening meeting was held in April 2017.

　　Research Fields

　　Clinical registration Study: basing on the Eye Injury Vitrectomy Study (EIVS) database, We plan to initial PKU Ocular Trauma Study.

　　Study on the clinical repair of uveal injury: to establish a classification system for the injury of choroid caused by eye trauma, and explore the repair operation of choroid trauma.

　　Study on the combined-therapy for dry eye including ocular surface neurotrophic factor nutrition, anti-VEGF therapy, physical and traditional medicine.

　　Study on visual stimulation induced visual reconstruction for low vision rehabilitation. The 3D printing technology will be applied to customize the individual visual assistant instruments.

　　Tissue engineering repair and stem cell research of eye injury. Taking compress collagen as the carrier, constructing the tissue-engineered corneal endothelium in vitro, and continuing the application of decellularized human skin tissue in ocular surface to achieve transformation and industrialization. To carry out researches on stem cell therapy.

　　Study on the neuro-protection for ocular nerve injury. To study the mechanism of retinal nerve cell - Müller cell coupling mechanism, and carry out the research on gene therapy and neural nutrition of stem cells.

　　Upgrading research facilities: Image reading center, Ocular Pathology, microbiology examination, clinical trial center and Biobank.

　　

　　In 2016, ophthalmology department consists of 13 full professors, 21 associate professors. In 2016, there were 3 PhD students, 13 MD students, 4 MSc students and 13 MM students. We established several technology facilities during the 12th Five-Year Plan, including image reading center, microbiology examination, ophthalmic pathology, clinical trial center and Biobank. The Ophthalmology Department ranked sixth nationwide in the ranking of scientific influence of academies of medical sciences in 2017.

　　During the 12th five-year plan period, more than 70 SCI papers were published and more than 20 patents were authorized, among which 1 patent achieved transformation. In the last three years of the scientific research ranking of Chinese academy of medical sciences, the ophthalmology department of Peking University has increased year by year, ranking the sixth place in 2017.
